Coaching - Alderbury TC

Good 4 Tennis are very happy to be running the Tennis Coaching at Alderbury Tennis Club & to be developing the level of players and numbers playing at the Club.

Coaching Programme for Juniors & Adults:

We believe in Long term player development and have a clear pathway for the children to follow as they progress from Youth Red Ball to the 18 & Under age group. We have Development & Performance level sessions for each age group.

For Adults wanting coaching we run sessions for beginners, intermediate & those aspiring to play in the Club Teams.

From April 15th 2024:

Mondays 5.30pm - 6.20pm Youth Red & Orange Ball group:

This fun introductory tennis group is for children aged 5 to 9 years which takes place on smaller tennis courts with low compression balls and smaller tennis rackets, to give players a greater chance of success and development.

Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm Youth Yellow Ball Group:

This fun Tennis group is for those aged between 10 to 16 years of age who are wanting to develop their Tennis skills on full size courts with yellow balls using a mixture of fun Tennis based games and technical coaching. There will also be the chance to improve Singles and Doubles through matchplay.

Thursdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm Adult Improver / Advanced Group:

This Adult group will be run to develop players Doubles tactics and court positions, with the use of drills and open play practice.

If you are an experienced Doubles match player, or have played Tennis & want to take your game to the next level, then this is the course for you.

Individual private lessons:

30 minute lesson: £18 (Members) If 2 sharing lesson then £12 pp 

45 minute lesson: £25 (Members) If 2 sharing lesson then £15 pp

60 minute lesson: £34 (Members) If 2 sharing lesson then £18 pp

Coaching at Private address within 10 mile radius of the club:

60 minute lesson: £contact Ed

90 minute lesson: £contact Ed
