Coaching at Horam Tennis Club & Schools

Coaching Programme for Juniors & Adults:

Ed and the Good4Tennis professional coaching team run individual & group coaching for the Juniors and Adults at the Horam Tennis club throughout the year and at Maynards  Green School, All Saints' & St Richard's Cof E Primary School & Heathfield Community College.  

Junior Group coaching is available to Members and Non - Members.

We cater for all levels - offering Coaching for beginner level to advanced competition players (*Academy status) through Individual private lessons and group lessons.

We believe in Long term player development and have a clear pathway for the children to follow as they progress from Mini Tennis Red to the 18 & Under age group. We have Development & Performance level sessions for each age group.

*Academy Status squads are invitation only and players must be attending atleast 2/3 x Coaching sessions per week. The Academy status has been set up to give the clubs junior tournament players the chance to attend regular performance squads & 1 to 1 coaching to get them to the required standard to compete in their age groups at County level. 

For Adults wanting coaching we run sessions for beginners, intermediate & those aspiring to play in the Club teams.

2023:

Tuesday 3rd January - Saturday 11th February 2023  

(Non - Members are very welcome but will pay an extra £2 per hour session for coaching groups, with money going to the club)      

Saturdays:

9.15am - 10.15am Tots & Mini Red Group (4-7 yrs)                     

9.15am - 10.15am Mini Orange / Green Group (8-11 yrs)  

Mondays:     

4.30pm - 5.30pm Yellow Ball Baseliners (11+ yrs)           

Tuesdays:

4.30pm - 5.30pm Orange & Green Ball Squad (8 - 11 yrs) Invitation Only           

5.30pm - 6.30pm Yellow Ball Development Squad

6.30pm - 7.30pm Individual Coaching (Book 1 to 1 lessons)

Thursdays:

4.10pm - 5.10pm Red Ball Development Squad (5-8 yrs)

Adult Groups & Team Practice at Horam

Fridays:

• 10am - 11am Adult Doubles Coaching

Ideal fun group for Adults who haven't played tennis for a while or Improver players who want to improve their Doubles tennis games: £10 per session.

Individual private lessons at Horam TC:

30 minute lesson: £20 (Members) If 2 sharing lesson then £14 pp 

45 minute lesson: £27 (Members) If 2 sharing lesson then £17pp

60 minute lesson: £35 (Members) If 2 sharing lesson then £20 pp

Coaching at Private address within 10 mile radius of the club:

60 minute lesson: £55 (minimum)

90 minute lesson: £75
